Fishing Report - June 28, 2015

The Cumberland River is on fire right now. Sunday, Jerry from Lexington decided to chase some trout on the Cumberland. It was very good to say the least. The bite was on all day and hardly slowed at all. Brook, rainbow, and brown trout filled the net consistantly all day. There were plenty of stocker trout caught, as well as several very nice fish in the 17-20" + range. The big difference in the bite was the water clarity. Clarity had substantially improved from earlier trips even just a few days ago. It made all the difference. Flies that were hot and bringing them to the net were on the smaller side for a change.
